چکیده

Lycium barbarum Thunb. and ruthenicum Murray (wolfberries) have been utilized as traditional medicinal nutritional plants in China for centuries. Much research has focused on their high quality, yet the molecular mechanisms underlying morphological differences remain unclear. In this study, a comparative analysis of cytological characteristics indicated that significant existed. Meanwhile, transcriptomic analyses flower fruit were performed at different developmental stages, total 54 795 differentially expressed genes (DEGs) screened. Gene Ontology Kyoto Encyclopedia Genes Genomes showed these DEGs significantly enriched substance metabolism, catalytic activity, single organism process, starch sucrose carotenoid biosynthesis, amino sugar nucleotide phenylpropanoid other pathways. Based pathways, ratio between nonsynonymous synonymous substitution rates (Ka/Ks), numerous studies related to development, we preliminarily screened eight transcription factor families development counted number potential genes. These candidate could provide basis future functional verification, helping further mechanism two species.

Flower and fruit development in Arabidopsis thaliana.

The study of flower development has experienced great advances over the last 15 years. The most important landmark was the proposal of the ABC model in which three different functions of overlapping activities account for the development of the four rings of organs of the eudicot flower. Most interestingly, during recent years this simple and elegant model has been broadly accepted and is appli...

Transcription of histone gene cluster by differential core-promoter factors.

The 100 copies of tandemly arrayed Drosophila linker (H1) and core (H2A/B and H3/H4) histone gene cluster are coordinately regulated during the cell cycle. However, the molecular mechanisms that must allow differential transcription of linker versus core histones prevalent during development remain elusive. Here, we used fluorescence imaging, biochemistry, and genetics to show that TBP (TATA-bo...

RNA sequencing analysis of gene expression regulated by the transcription factor SlZFP2 during early fruit development

The transcription factor SlZFP2 (Solanum lycopersicum Zinc Finger Protein 2) regulates ABA biosynthesis during fruit development. To reveal the regulatory network of this transcription factor, we conducted a high-throughput RNA-seq to identify differentially expressed genes in 2 dpa (days post anthesis) fruits from a representative RNAi line in Solanum pimpinellifolium LA1589 background and the...
